Called to order 1820 by Malouff

1. Approval of minutes of January meeting. Motion by Chinburg/Griggs to approve. Carried unan.

2. No treasurer’s report. Cope does not have records from Moreland. Moreland’s address on website needs to be changed.

3. Race Director Report – Chinburg. Spring series starts 4/23, racer’s meeting 4/9, 9–12:00 at Seagulls, preparing visible buoys with concrete anchors with galvanized chain, will post race director’s rule of week on website, race committee will be member volunteers as in past, PHRF spread somewhat high for some fleets.

4. Old Business.

Boat Show. Kline has list of signups, Griggs – Dawson accepted a donated boat at show, need to invite signups to wine/cheese. Griggs will confirm date with Onofrio. Malouff will send email. Kline – should also promote Monday “beer can” races.

Leukemia Cup. Edwards suggests “fun” theme. J. Chinburg suggests “Chatfield Open”. Simpson – event is already listed on SAIL tour. social event – burgers on dock or portion of fee assigned to support food at Seagull’s.

Burgees – Malouff. Arapaho County law enforcement contacted colleagues in Richmond CA, who are pursuing vendor.

J. Chinburg is making embroidered sample burgees to show at next meeting. Kline suggests same source as trophies.

Junior Sailing – Malouff. Vance Meyer getting training.

Youth regatta – Malouff. Propose 7/12.

Fagawie – propose 7/1.

J. Chinburg will contact Hullett about scoring Wed. races.

5. New Business.

Malouff – SAIL is promoting safety training, club should have safety officer, Burley volunteers.

Malouff – park pass discount for groups of 20. Cope will coordinate. Wolf - deeper senior discount for 64+.

8/16 suggested for pig roast.

Commodore’s Ball 11/2.

Malouff – Park will issue single permit with single application for multiple events with one fee assessed.

Simpson – will we donate $10 per member to Community Sailing? Motion by Wolf/J. Chinburg to do so. Carried unan. Cope – Sheltons will continue membership coordination.

3/15 is Community Sail party – Simpson will attend.

J. Chinburg – how about issuing officer flags at beginning of race season?
